When I Get into My Stride

When I get into my stride,

Even the devil let me do my ride;

And when I dash in my drive,

The police let me glide

As when I roll, I don’t zigzag, I slide.

You can say I am bragging,

But when I cruise,

I wouldn’t drag you through the mud,

But instead, motivate to elevate you:

So you can earn your stripes,

And then when you strut,

No one will whine and say you swank,

As you would have earned the rights—

And when you get into your stride,

Even the devil will let you do your ride.
