Watch Senegal Currently Train 50 Gambian Soldiers on Use of Armored Combat Vehicles

The Senegalese Army is currently training a detachment of 50 members of the Gambia Armed Forces to use armored infantry combat vehicles at “Captain Gormack Niang National Training Center” at Montrolland in the Thiès region. According to the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Armies of Senegal, (Dirpa) the training under the command of the Senegalese Land Forces and has begun since January 20th. It will continue until March 19th, 2021.

In a video, of what looks like the early stage of the training, released by the Senegalese Army, Gambian soldiers could be seen in action and expressing their pride over acquiring new skills in relation with the armored vehicles (tactical, mechanical, IT, weapons, organisation, logistics etc).
