They call themselves “Investors”. They enjoy large privileges, including dining with the president. They are European nationals with a rare access to The Gambia’s State House. They are given diplomatic passports through dubious means, extend their greed to huge swath of land from Gambians who have not been compensated and some of them even found love and got married to Gambians.
