Martin Kyere is amazingly surprised and happy to discover the “Smiling” Gambia he never thought it existed when he became the lone survivor of the 2005 massacre of migrants in The Gambia by Yahya Jammeh’s hench men. Martin speaks to The Chronicle about his relief after he told his story to the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC). He hopes that Justice will prevail for the murdered migrants and their families as he explains his new journey to get Yahya Jammeh tried before a court of law. Watch
