The Gambia national women beach volleyball team’s goal to be at the 2020 Tokyo Games is over after the team fail in the qualifiers in Guinea on Saturday.
Gambia went to the tournament as the top favorites but rack up only one win out of 4 games. Gambia beat Mali in the opening only to lose to Guinea, Sierra Leone and Cape Verde in the process.

In 2016 Gambia went as far as continental cup finals and finished 8th, however this year the country could only stop at Zonal level.
