The Chief Executive Officer of the Gambia OIC Secretariat, Lamin J.K Sanneh has resigned.
The Public Relations Officer of the Secretariat, Essa Bokar Sey told The Chronicle that Sanneh resigned earlier Monday. He did not give any further details.
Sanneh was appointed to oversee the coordination of the 2019 Organisation of Islamic Cooperation summit which was moved to Saudi Arabia after The Gambia failed to host it.
The Secretariat’s Director of Communication and Branding, Nyang Njie has also resigned. He confirmed his resignation to The Chronicle but did not give any reason
