Gambia international Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally has completed a loan move to UAE Pro-League side Ajman Club from Saudi club Al-Shabab Riyadh.
The 24-year-old was Ajman’s transfer deadline day signing on Monday as he joins them on loan until the end of the season.
The Scorpions forward joined the Orange Brigade after a short spell with Al-Shabab, scoring three goals in 11 league appearances for the Saudi Arabia-based outfit.

“I actually had several offers before the European transfer window closed in Croatia and in Turkey, but a deal couldn’t be agreed with Al-Shabab and that was why I didn’t move,” Bubacarr tells The Chronicle. “Several other offers from Middle Eastern countries came but it wasn’t going to be a good career move for me and that was when Ajman came with their interest and explained their project to me, which is why I am here” .
The attacker is one of Al- Shabab’s better performers last season, and he’s expected to add depth to the squad that is occupying the 4th place in the Arabian Gulf League with 4 points after two games.
