The Gambia football Scorpions have qualified for Africa’s premier competition, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) for the very first time in history. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Cameroun.
The scorpions won 1-0 over Angola while Gabon defeats the Democratic Republic of Congo in Franceville (2-0) at the same time.
Getting the job done on home soil before Monday’s match in Kinshasa, the Gambia’s Scorpions are tied on ten points with Gabon atop Group D.
